King Khan of Bollywood was born in an ordinary family in Delhi on November 2, 1965. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore. In 1960, his maternal grandfather, Iftiar Ahmed was an engineer.
And his grandfather Jan Muhammad was an ethnic Pathan of Afghanistan. His father Mir Taj Mohammad Khan was from Peshawar, Pakistan, a noted lawyer and freedom fighter. He came to New Delhi before the partition of India in 1947.
His mother’s name was Latif Fatima, who was from Hyderabad. When Shahrukh was 15-16 years old, his father died of cancer.
At the same time, after about 10 years, his mother also died of diabetes. Due to which a mountain of sorrows broke on him and his elder sister Shahnaz Lalrukh, but in this condition, not only did Shah Rukh keep himself, but also performed the responsibility of his elder sister well.

But due to certain reasons, he dropped out to solidify his commitment to acting and he went on to finally follow his passion by taking up an acting course at the National School of Drama.
